Yes.  Harkaway Homes designs and supplies across six whole states, with existing client homes situated in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Canberra and southern Queensland.

Harkaway offers nine roofline ranges, all of which suit rural and acreage blocks. The most popular for regional properties are the Pavilion Roofline Series (ideally suited to acreage, with sweeping verandahs), the Victorian Homestead Series (grand symmetrical profiles), the Gabled Homestead (three gables, portico entrance), the Town & Country Homestead (wrap-around verandahs with the high-wall system), and the Fair Dinkum Federation. All designs offer 100% flexible floor plans.

Harkaway Homes are an architectural designer and major components supplier. Many of our clients choose the project-managed owner-builder model, where the project is registered in the client's name as owner-builder and all construction work is performed by subcontractors. Harkaway guides and supports you through this process, which typically maximises cost savings while maintaining quality. Alternatively, you can engage a licensed builder of your choice to manage construction using our supplied components and plans.

Yes, Harkaway Homes are very well suited to sloping sites. Raised floors due to falling terrain provide an authentic and visually appealing presence for a traditional home. Sloping sites will also make the most of our well proportioned verandahs, where views of the surrounding countryside are best captured from an elevated verandah floor.

All Harkaway Homes floor plans are 100% flexible, the final size is determined by your needs, your block, and your budget. There is no maximum size — many of our rural homesteads on regional properties exceed 400m² with large verandah areas and multiple living zones.

Build timelines vary depending on the complexity of the design, the availability of local subcontractors, and planning approval timelines in your local council area. Our team will discuss realistic timelines based on your specific project during the consultation phase.
